Everybody belives the caretaker, and the smell of reheated tinned tripe hits you if you go up the stairs in appartament block A. It comes from the tenant on the 5 th floor. She keeps her floral centrepiece of faded and worn- out flowers, like the ones on forgotten graves, on the balcony, or to be more exact, on what was the balcony before it was turned into a closed annexe of her 70 mq flat. She always speaks about her centerpiece , says it’s a memento, pretends to shed a tear, but she was probably the one who bought it.

Anyway, last time the tinned tripe was past its due by data and the woman only realized when, once in her mouth, it formed a strange texture and stuck to her dentures. Now if you meet her in the elevator, she kisses you and gives you a “ small holy picture”.

Her dentures finished up amongst the flowers of the centrerpiece.

" non ci sono più zanzare... ", 2009 - Part. I

In the first part of the exhibition   “ non ci sono più zanzare...”  2009, the black sofa should not have been moved from the first space of Lucie Fontaine in Via Conte Rosso. ”The blanket of folded earth” was correctly positioned on that precise sofa.
This is a work resulting  from the  period during which I attended Alberto Garutti ‘s lessons in class 1 in Brera and, therefore, dates to 1998. Considering how  pertinent it  is to  both the  “ retrospective ” character  of my first  exhibition and the almost   domestic   space  which Lucie Fontaine herself loves to highlight, the work has been resubmitted.
The folded blanket is made of soil and is a work which requires particular attention as it need to be watered almost every day.
